Welcome to our January – March 2010 edition of the Blue Chip Newsletter!

Another year has come and gone. 2009 was not without its challenges as everybody is aware. The world was faced with an almost crippling recession, which meant that none of us were able to fly as much as we would have liked.

Never the less the aviation community somehow always finds a way to survive and to push on to even greater heights and achievements. This is evident from Sir Richard Branson and Virgin Galactic new endeavour to make commercial space travel a reality. Initially this will be very expensive, but as we all know technology gets cheaper by the day and maybe one day this will be affordable to all and sundry. Possibly we will see the emergence of low cost carriers to space. Lets hold thumbs, as this will possibly be one of the most exciting and thrilling adventures.
